Browsing information

Serving a website involves receiving technical connection information, which may include an IP address, requested resource, timestamp, browser information and error details. Hosting infrastructure may process access and security logs to deliver the site, diagnose problems and protect it from misuse. The website code does not install advertising trackers, third-party analytics, embedded social widgets or cross-site tracking pixels.

Where operational security information is processed, our legitimate interests are keeping the website available, secure and reliable. Information should be limited to what is necessary for those purposes. We do not use browsing data to make automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects.

The local enquiry tool

Text entered in the contact tool is processed in browser memory. The tool does not send it to us, place it in localStorage or submit it to a server. Your browser may independently offer autofill or restore form contents. Copying places your prepared text on your device clipboard; downloading creates a plain-text file on your device. You control those copies and should remove sensitive material before sharing them.

Email correspondence

If you choose to email us, we receive your email address, message and any information or attachments you include. We use this information to respond, assess corrections and maintain relevant correspondence. The usual lawful basis is our legitimate interest in handling genuine enquiries; a legal obligation or steps connected with a contract may apply where relevant.

Do not send confidential drawings, credentials, detailed security-sensitive asset locations or unnecessary personal data. Email is not guaranteed to be secure. Correspondence may be handled by email-service providers acting on our behalf, and disclosed where required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims. We do not sell personal information.

Storage and retention

The preference page can save a browser-local consent choice. It does not contain your name or enquiry text. See the Cookies policy for its key and removal method. We keep correspondence only for as long as reasonably needed to handle the enquiry, maintain necessary records or meet legal obligations. Retention depends on the purpose and any continuing dispute or statutory requirement.

If a service provider processes personal information outside the United Kingdom, applicable data-protection requirements and appropriate transfer safeguards must be considered. This static website does not itself transfer contact-form contents to an overseas endpoint.

Your rights

Depending on the circumstances, you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction or portability of personal information, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Where processing relies on consent, you may withdraw that consent without affecting earlier lawful processing. These rights have legal limits; we may need proportionate information to verify your identity.

Send a request to our contact email. We aim to respond within the applicable statutory period, normally one month. You may complain to the Information Commissioner's Office or another competent supervisory authority.

External links and changes

External reference websites have their own privacy practices. Following a link is your choice; consult the destination's policy. We may update this notice when the website's operation changes. The effective date above identifies this version.
